VBC is wildly used as rubber additives, coupling additives, flavoring additives, rubber and resin additives, photographic materials, electroconducting polymers and so on.
Polymerization: Vinylbenzyl chloride can undergo polymerization reactions to form polymers with vinylbenzyl chloride units in the polymer chain. These polymers can be further modified or crosslinked to obtain specific properties. The resulting polymers find applications in coatings, adhesives, sealants, and other polymer-based products.
